Spicy Aoud is one of the warmer Montale ouds. Cinnamon, cloves and saffron at the start, then agarwood and rose in the heart, then amber, benzoin and vanilla. The spice never lets up, and the oud is dry rather than smoky. Longevity is long, easily ten hours, and projection is strong early on. Winter and evenings only in this climate. Unisex, leaning towards men. Suits someone who likes a spiced oud with some sweetness in the base.
